Holy Market Meltdown Batman!
It’s time for the Raging Right and the Looney Left To Take A Chill Pill
We find ourselves in the midst of, as Robin might say, a market meltdown. Can the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder save us?
Is anyone else getting tired of all the fear-mongering going on these days? Every time we turn around we’re hearing bad news about the financial situation of not only the United States, but even the world money market. Personally, when I hear a headline declaring — We lost One Trillion Dollars In One Day — I have to laugh. We did not lose one trillion dollars. It’s all a paper shuffle. Reality is, that money doesn’t exist. The rich on Wall Street say it exists, but it’s really nothing more than a paper shuffle.
It’s time to stop the fear-mongering and take a deep breath. Then, as we all step back from the white-noise on the airwaves about what’s going on, maybe we’ll realize it’s not as bad as it sounds. I’m not saying we need to live in some kind of a fantasy world ignoring the fact that financial times are tight. But, I am saying we need to refocus on what’s really going on here and realize the government’s idea of simply printing more money, will not fix the problem.

Not only does the town need an enema, but the entire country needs an enema. It’s time to clean house from top to bottom. It’s time for an enema to make everything whistle clean.
What exactly do I mean by that?
First, the government needs an enema…
Lets start with our political structure. This nation was not founded on the premise of professional politicians running the country. No, this country was founded on a government structure made up of people who worked real jobs, just like you and I, and served in a political structure for a short time. When they were finished, they went back to work. It’s time to bring in term limits on all political positions, and it’s time to stop perking 78 year old politicians with cherry jobs making $140 thousand dollars a year.
It’s time to realize many government officials find themselves bought off by the rich. They may not admit it, and it may be very subtle. However, when you have to spend millions of dollars just to run for office, millionaires line up to fill the election coffers hoping for a favor in return. Point in case, the rich CEO’s and other leaders on Wall Street and other financial institutions now saving money and making more money, on the backs of the taxpayers.
Government officials are trying to sell us a piece of swamp-land in Florida. They want us to believe we’re buying a good bailout with millions of dollars. Reality is, the rich won’t pay for the bailout. No, the taxpayer will pay for the bailout. Again, it’s time to realize government officials are selling swamp-land!
Second, Wall Street Needs An Enema
The high and mighty money-holders on Wall Street have been paper shuffling for long enough. The speculators speculate, the rich get richer, and the CEO’s of the so-called all knowing financial institutes receive huge bonus checks for making the rules up along the way. It’s called greed, and it’s time to realize that, as one wise man once said, “mammon, also known as money, is the root of all evil.” It’s not that the money itself is evil, but when greed comes into play, it makes people do evil things.
Not only is it time to clean house on Wall Street, but it’s also time for the rich of Wall Street to clean their own houses. In other words, they lost the money, so they should sell off their extreme living styles, to pay for what they lost. Again, why do so many people think it makes sense for the taxpayers to pay off the debt caused by the rich on Wall Street?
Stop saying yes to the swamp-land. Swamp-land is nothing more than a sinking pit of filth.
Third, Talk Radio & News Shows Need An Enema
Now you have to understand something here, I host a talk show of my own. It’s called the Live Line and you can listen to past shows on my Dr. Rus website. Click on the Live Line menu button and you will find some show archives. However, even though I host my own talk show, I’m getting tired of what I refer to as the Raging Right and the Looney Left. This goes for radio talk shows, and TV talks shows. This goes for radio news, and TV news. It’s time to stop the screaming and turn off the white noise filling most of our airwaves these days.
As a broadcaster I want to let you in on a secret here…
It’s less about the knowledge of the talk host, and it’s always all about ratings.
That’s right folks. No matter how smart you think your favorite talk show host is, the bottom line is this…
They really don’t care about you. They only care about their ratings, and how much they can translate that into a new big money contract.
I’m sorry to break the news to you, but it’s true. As a result, it’s time to turn off the screamers on the left and the right. Many of the screamers are only creating panic. Now is not the time for panic, now is the time to step back and breath.
As I said earlier, I’m not saying we should be living in some kind of fantasy world. Yes, finances are tight. But, for most of us, unless you’ve over-extended yourself as a result of dumb financial moves, will survive. Cut back and conserve, and this too shall pass. If you’re making your monthly payments, no one will show up on your doorstep to take your house or your car. If you’re making your monthly credit card payments, no one will show up on your door and demand payment in full.
But, if we allow the government to sell us some swamp-land with their so-called bailout, the government will be pick-pocketing your weekly paycheck. The swamp-land bailout plan only benefits the rich on Wall Street. It’s time to stop the victim mindset and have those in charge of the financial institutions, and those in politics, to pay for their mess. After all, they did cause it.
