Cave Family Keeps Home
Looking For The Modern Stone Age Family

Flintstones. Meet the Flintstones.
They’re the modern stone age family.
From the town of Bedrock,
They’re a page right out of history.
Let’s ride with the family down the street.
Through the courtesy of Fred’s two feet.
When you’re with the Flintstones
you’ll have a yabba dabba doo time.
A dabba doo time.
You’ll have a gay old time.
Ahh yes. Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty and we can’t forget Dino! I used to love watching that show. As a kid I wondered how in the world you could start a car with your feet. I also wondered how you could train a dinosaur to work in a rock pit. I thought if I could figure those questions out, I could make millions of dollars! Well, that never did quite work out.
I also wondered what it would be like to live in a cave-house. Of course the wisdom of my Dad told me that could never really happen. I never could figure that one out either. After all, if Fred and Wilma and the gang could all live in a cave-house – Why couldn’t I?
After having my childhood dreams of living in a cave dashed upon the rocks, a story now comes out about a family in Missouri doing just that!
Cave Family Will Keep Home

A Little Fancier Than Fred’s Pad
Curt Sleeper of Festus, Missouri received some good news when he found out he and his family can keep their home located inside a cave. In 2004 Sleeper and his wife fell in love with the location of an old mine. That’s when they started work on building a fully functional home, inside the cave! But, like many families these days, the Sleepers had problems keeping up with the large mortgage payment. As a result, they made plans to sell their cave-home on eBay.
But, as the auction went up, Logicial Source Incorporated of Fairfield, New Jersey decided to help the Sleeper family out. Jon Demarest, the owner of Logical Source, said “Someone who has put that much into it, shouldn’t lose it.” So, he came up with a private, 15 year mortgage contract, which will keep the Sleepers, sleeping in their cave.
I’m not sure if the windows in the Sleeper home are the same as the windows in Fred’s house or not. But, if they are, Curt better watch out for this guy…
Dino always liked to jump through the window, and then lock Fred outside the door!
Just my two cents,
Dr. Rus

Was it Dino or was it their cat, Baby Pus who locked him out at the end of the show?
Hmmm…..now you have me wondering about that. I think you’re right though. It might have been Baby Pus.
