Lisa Marie Talks About Michael Jackson
Lisa Marie Says Former Hubby Knew He’d Be Like Dad

I, along with others, are still no doubt trying to figure out why Lisa Marie Presley married Michael Jackson. While the marriage did not last long, it certainly did raise the eyebrows of many. Was it because the self-named King of Pop wanted to be like Elvis, the real King of Rock and Roll?
We may never know the real answer to that mystery.
But, we now know that Michael Jackson told his former wife, Lisa Marie, that he would end up like her dad, Elvis.
This is truly a sad story…
Another Wasted Life
Whether you liked him or not, one thing is for sure. The death of Michael Jackson is another example of a wasted life.
He was truly a talented individual, who became caught up in his own fame and fortune. Of course his life of stardom, and mishaps, are well documented. But now it’s coming out that he was, in a way, fascinated with death and possibly wrote his own final days in his mind.
In a recent post on her MySpace account entitled “He Knew”, Michael Jackson’s ex-wife, Lisa Marie Presley, wrote that 14 years ago Michael was asking her about her father’s death. She said “He stared at me very intensely and stated with an almost calm certainty – ‘I’m afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did.’” Lisa Marie said she tried to talk him out of the idea but she said “He almost shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact, as if to let me know, ‘He knew what he knew.’”
Lisa Marie Presley also revealed in the post that she became “Ill and emotionally and spiritually exhausted in her quest to stave him from certain self-destructive behavior.” Lisa Marie said she was in over her head and ended up having to simply walk away and let him have what he thought was his fate, have his way.
That pretty much sums up the sadness of this whole story. Michael Jackson provides for us another example of a wasted life. His “self-destructive behavior” eventually got the best of him.
Just my two cents,
