Low Life Steals Vegetables From Fatal Crash Scene
Police in Australia are looking for the motorist who reportedly stopped at the scene of a fatal truck accident and decided to steal vegetables instead of helping the injured driver. Police are investigating reports of a man driving an SUV who stopped at the crash scene Saturday morning, grabbed up some produce scattered on the ground, and then drove off.
Duck Crossing Causes Car Crash
A motorist decided to stop his car on I-90 near Arlington, Wisconsin last week to let a group of ducks cross the road. Unfortunately for him, at least six cars behind him didn’t stop. Authorities say the ducks caused a pile-up involving at least a half dozen cars. No serious injuries were reported, but police say they’re not sure about the fate of the ducks because officers had to leave the scene to attend to a nearby pile-up of five motorcycles.
Michigan Police Open Donut Shop
Police officers in Clare, Michigan love donuts so much, they’ve opened their own shop, appropriately named “Cops and Doughnuts.” The Morning Sun newspaper reports that nine full-time police officers became so alarmed when they learned the Clare City Bakery would be closing its doors after 113 years, they decided to buy the place and reopen it under a new name. In addition to the usual assortment of doughnuts and muffins, the Cops and Doughnuts shop also sells mugs and t-shirts with phrases such as “Handcuffs and Cream Puffs” and “You Have the Right to Remain Glazed.”
