The Funny Side of the News

“Cops Bust Naked Park Stroller”
Police in Lincoln, Nebraska arrested a man this week for walking through a park in his birthday suit. When officers found the man he told them he was naked because someone tried to rob him. When he told the bandit he had no money, the robber instead took his clothes! But, when police further investigated the incident they discovered the man had actually stripped down because he was hot. Then, after walking around for an hour to cool off, he went looking for his clothes, but couldn’t find them. The man was arrested for indecent exposure charges.

“Burglar Busted After Returning to Victim to Apologize”
The only thing Craig Fletcher should be sorry about is his decision to apologize.  Police in Rahway, New Jersey arrested the 35-year-old man on burglary charges after he returned to the victim’s house to apologize for his actions.  Fletcher, who robbed the home late last month, rang the doorbell, said he was sorry and then ran away.  The homeowner called police, who managed to track down and arrest Fletcher.

“Drug Dealer Celebrates ‘Take Your Kids To Work Day’”
A Toronto man was arrested after he took his five children with him to a drug deal with an undercover cop.  The father, who had agreed to meet the officer at a mall, showed up with his two-year-old, 10-year-old, 11-year-old and two teenagers.  After the officer bought the drugs, he followed the father back to his car, where he found the 10- and 11-year-olds sitting inside with a stash of cocaine.
