“Husband Arrested For Rubbing Burger in Wife’s Face”
A 25-year-old Florida man was arrested for having a violent food fight with his wife. Police say Daniel Boss and his wife got into an argument when she apparently poured soda on his hamburger. Authorities say Boss retaliated by rubbing the burger in his wife’s face. His wife went to a police station to report the incident. Boss was later charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
“Police: Tennessee Man Arrested for Dialing 911 While Drunk”
A Tennessee man was arrested for allegedly dialing 911 while drunk. Police in Murfreesboro responded to an emergency call at the 57-year-old suspect’s home, but the only thing wrong was the man had consumed too much alcohol. When the officers asked the suspect why he dialed 911, he replied – quote – “just drunk.” When police later discovered the same man had called the emergency line 47 times in the past year, they charged him with abuse of the 911 system.
“Police Catch Christmas Tree Crook”
Police in Portage, Indiana caught a Christmas tree thief trying to make a getaway — on a motorized bicycle. When police stopped 48-year-old Phillip Menefee for riding his bike at 1 in the morning with a Christmas tree balanced across his handlebars, he claimed he purchased it from a nearby lot. When officers informed Menefee the lot was closed, he allegedly changed his story and announced he bought the tree at a bar. While police say Menefee did buy something at the bar, it wasn’t a tree. He was charged with public intoxication. He was also charged with theft after cops noticed the tree had a tag that showed it came from the closed lot.
